Frequently Asked Questions - Do Not Call

Q
Why are you calling my number?

A
Our firm conducts survey research for many of the countries' leading organizations. The feedback you provide helps our clients improve their services.

Q
What are you selling?

A
Nothing. Our call is solely for the purpose of survey research. We never make "telemarketing" or "telephone solicitation" calls.

Q
My telephone number is on the national Do Not Call list so why was it called?

A
In order to maintain the integrity of the survey research process, survey research calls are exempt from the national Do Not Call list. By including all telephone number in survey research, including those on the national Do Not Call list, survey research results are more representative of the country. In addition, if you have a business relationship with the organization that we are making the calls for, those calls are also exempt from the national Do Not Call list.

Q
My telephone number is unlisted, so how was it obtained?

A
We obtained your number in one of two ways. Either your number was provided to us by an organization with whom you have a business relationship or it was generated randomly.

Q
For whom are you calling?

A
We conduct surveys for a wide range of leading organizations around the world. When you are called, our interviewers often identify our clients. Sometimes though, in order to avoid biasing the results of the survey or to avoid alerting their competitors, our clients prefer to remain unidentified.

Q
How can I remove my telephone number from your calling list for this survey?

A
Easy. Just fill out our Do Not Call form or tell our interviewer next time you are called that you don't wish to participate in this survey. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.
